Ann Taylor was founded by Richard Liebeskind in 1954. His inspiration for naming his brand "Ann Taylor" was the best-selling dress that was sold at his father's store. In March of 2011, the company changed its name to Ann Inc., and was acquired by Ascena Retail Group on May 18, 2015. Ann Taylor sells clothing targeted toward affluent women.

Bank of America
Listed as the second largest banking company in the United States by assets, Bank of America was founded as the Bank of Italy in 1904. Founder Amadeo Pietro Giannini created the bank to serve the immigrants settling into the United States at the time. It was renamed to Bank of America in November 1930. The bank expanded and merged with NationsBank in 1998.
